Hi friends,
It's with a heavy heart that I'm letting go of one of my grail pens in order to raise some funds for personal reasons.
Selling a nice Visconti Homo Sapiens bronze age maxi, in EF.
The pen was originally purchased from fellow FPNer Ytland. The nib has been worked on by John Sorowka to a nice and smooth EF.
Thankfully, nib work has eliminated the fire-hose nature that is common in HS nibs, and the flow of this nib is controlled, making the pen highly useable even on non premium papers. Also, this nib is free of the many QC issues that plague Visconti nibs, so buy with confidence! (I know because I have had several Viscontis prior to this and all of them required work out of the box)
Picts show actual writing with the pen on cheap 70gsm paper (my homework actually).
I have used the pen a little since I received it but it is in otherwise outstanding condition, since the lava doesn't scratch at all.
It comes with boxes and the original booklet.
