For sale is a burgundy Sheaffer Connaisseur Broad 18K nib, ground slightly in the direction of a stub but stopping after just a 2:1 line variation had been achieved. Obviously it could be ground further.

The price, as you will see, is low because I converted this pen to ED at one point and then regretted it. To "unconvert" it, I had to drill out the back of the section and install a section of tubing to form a sac nipple, upon which I installed a modern Parker 51 sac. Because there is no sac guard to grab on to, it had to be secure enough so that you could hold onto the sac while dangling the section in the ink, so the sac is actually epoxied in place rather than shellac'd. There's a strip of polyethylene plastic in it to prevent the ink from sticking to the back of the sac, as we often see in converters.

It works great, but you're not going to pay me what a Connaisseur usually goes for just because it writes like one. OTOH, it's now a self-filler that ought to work for 30+ years without needing a new converter or anything of the sort.

Asking $55 shipped to US addresses via USPS Priority Mail Small Flat Rate Box. PayPal preferred.
