It seems like there is a great hunger for the flex in Japan...

Recently this youtube video of a Custom Namiki Falcon Resin (Mottishaw Spencerian mod) has become very popular. It is already at about 2,2 million views:

[Yeah, the video is pure Win]

The video has been referred to in various Japanese blogs (e.g. Bromfield). And now lets take a look of the effects in Japan from the view of a stationary shop owner (Nagasawa in Kobe):

The shop owner ends his blog post with: "Everyone, please take a look at the video. It is impressing." (this line only needs a smiley at the end).

p.s.: I need to get one of my own.

2.2 Million views???! That's awesome! The flex seems a bit scratchy though... Maybe it's just a good mic

My SEF Falcon is significantly more audible than my EF VP. From normal desk-to-ear distance you really can't hear it, but if your face is in close then the Falcon definitely sounds scratchy. It still feels great, though. So yeah, chalk it up mostly to the mic, cause I can't imagine Mottishaw's modification making it that much louder.
