Hi Everyone,

My name is Chris, I signed up recently and thought I'd better introduce myself.

I've been using fountain pens for about 6 months now, so still pretty new to it all.

So far I have:
Pilot Vanishing Point Matte Black with Fine and Stub nibs
Pilot Metal Falcon SEF nib
Pilot Custom Heritage 92 M nib
Tombow Zoom 101 F nib
Lamy 2000 F nib
Lamy Al-Star 1.1 nib
Lamy Safari 1.5 nib
Lamy Vista 1.9 nib
TWSBI 580 with 1.1 nib
Noodlers Ahab
Parker Jotter M nib (My first FP)
Pelikan M400 F nib in the mail somewhere...

Inks:
Noodlers X-Feather
Noodlers Apache Sunset
Diamine Saphire Blue
Diamine Sunshine Yellow
J.Herbin Emerald of Chivor
Lamy Turquoise
Parker Quink Blue/Black
And samples of the complete range of Iroshizuku inks.

This pen thing is a slippery slope I must say!

Welcome! Jar will soon be offering you a stump and for u to sit a spell! It's good advice to stick around and listen to him! Enjoy the slide on this slippery slope [emoji38]

Welcome home. Pull up that stump and set a spell. If you keep your feet to the fire the smoke never gets in your eyes.

I bought several pens from a gentleman from Melbourne and a couple of my favorite bladesmiths are also from down your way.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone :)

@Anne - That's a tough one, I like them all. The 1.0 on the VP and the 1.1's on the Lamy and TWSBI are great for adding some line variation to cursive writing, while the 1.5 and 1.9 Lamy's are better for calligraphy. I mostly use them for headings etc in my notebooks. Which reminds me I also have the set of Pilot Parallel pens :) They're great fun!

I have to try the Pilot Parallel. I agree that these nibs are a lot of fun to write with. They make my handwriting look a little more than halfway decent:D

Welcome. What is your favorite pen?

Thats a tough question... I'm not sure I have one favorite. At the moment its probably a tie between the CH92 and the M400 which arrived in the mail yesterday. Closely followed by the VP and Falcon :)

And would that slope be angled at 45 degrees perchance? :) Welcome, Chris, I hope you'll continue to share as your collection grows!
