FS: Pilot Elite (18k F Nib, Long/Short Pocket Pen, Black/Gold, 1970s or 80s)

For sale is a Pilot Elite 'long/short' pocket fp with an 18k F nib. It is in very good condition and writes well. The cap and barrel do have some light to moderate wear including the small ding or dent on the cap shown in my last picture. The pen dates, I think, from the 1970s or 1980s. The date code on the nib is largely hidden by the part of the barrel that juts up into the nib. The pen will come with a Pilot Con-20 converter and one cartridge. $46, including shipping in the USA; will accept PayPal or check/money order. Thank you.

Is there a small date code on the barrel of the pen (just under the ring between the grip and barrel), usually it's a four digit code two letters and two numbers on the 70s era Elites.
