FS: 50's Pelikan 400n om -- green striated, Franklin-Christoph Pocket 20 -- black

Pelikan 400NN om, 50's
- from Penprinzess at penboard.de
- described as excellent to near-mint at time of purchase
- Very clean -- micro and fine scratches, usual deeper scratches from cap above threads, no gouges
- had it for 2-3 months
- for the most part no brassing has shown itself, *possibly* at the bottom edge of clip sides
- clear ink window, slight blue coloring from recently, came to me perfectly clear
- inked maybe 4-5 time at the most
- inked for a couple days recently with KWZ Blue #5 iron gall
- om nib tuned by nibsmith
- piston lubed
- $140 Pelikan has been sold


Franklin-Christoph Pocket 20
- excellent cond, only inked a handful of times.
- comes with steel #6 Masuyama Needlepoint -- imo not a true needlepoint -- line width like a Pilot fine, a tiny bit finer.
- $90 including Priority shipping in the U.S.

Just wondering (as it's not clear from the F-C website) the Pocket 20 can take converters?
The site says that it comes shipped with a converter but I also know that some of the pockets are too small for that.

Right, the standard Int'l converter won't fit. I haven't tried the Monteverde Mini Converter which is supposed to work with *most* pens that fit Int'l short cartridges.

P.S. F-C did not send mine with a converter.

That being said, the p20 is tempting... but I feel like my usage would overlap quite a bit with the 3776 SF.

Same me with me btw. My brassy Pelikan 140 with its nibsmith ef, already does what I would have asked of the P20. Otoh the Pocket 20 imo balances a bit better than my Model 20, or at least I imagine it to.
