This is a nearly flawless ~1948 Sheaffer Triumph. All the gold plating is perfect. The nib is perfect and smooth and round and wet. There are no marks or scratches - none. The ink view section is ambered but you can still see the ends of the feed and plunger. This pen is in stunning condition, I'm not exaggerating. The earlier celluloid striped pens can hide a lot of imperfections but the monochromatic injection molded pens show every little nick and there are none to see. Even the knurling on the blind cap is perfect.

I've refurbished the filling system with modern synthetic rubber that should last for decades. The nib is smooth, round and wet. I'd describe it as a fine-medium but please refer to the writing sample. It is on a small Rhodia dot pad with 5 mm dot spacing.
