Hi! I'm a long time fountain pen user, but have just ventured into the collecting world after receiving my grandfather's Parker VP. Researching that pen brought me to this fabulous world. (Not to mention the amazement of knowing that I have a 50+ year old pen that still works great - and yes, I'm being VERY careful with the filler.)

My pen collection is small but mighty. In addition to the Parker VP, I have a Montegrappa Privilege that I don't use enough (afraid to carry and lose it), and my daily pens are a Sheaffer 100 Friends of Winter and a Lamy Al-Star. Couple of other pens rolling around, but these are my big ones.

Somehow, I missed out on the existence of the ink world, so that's been my latest foray. Give me a few months and I'm sure I'll be overrun by ink samples!

Welcome home. Pull up a stump and set a spell. Do you have the Montegrappa Privilege (http://montegrappa-history.com/privilege.html) (large or small size) or the Privilege Deco (http://montegrappa-history.com/deco.html)?

I've got the Privilege in the small size. It's a beautiful pen.

The plain finish or Greek Key? And yes, they are great pens.

Yup, the Greek Key decoration. There was also a plain one that has no engraving pattern. Wonderful pens.
