Here is a halfhearted attempt to sell my Sheaffer PFM II (Blue) with a formal Italic nib.

NOT A STUB. This is a crisp italic. It is epic. It is the nicest formal italic I have ever used. I bought it NOS, had the filling system redone. It fills and writes like a champ.

Blue with Steel Cap.

PFM II (PdAg nib)

I am a Sheaffer homer. I have a small army of Sheaffers and this was in my "Don't you ever sell this" category but honestly, I am not a calligrapher (as you can clearly see haha). This italic is overkill for me. The few times I need a real crisp italic I have other options and I also own a PFM V. So ...

Though this is by far the sweetest smoothest Italic I have owned. About 1mm.

$250

in nice shape for such an old pen. The usual micro scratches. The pen I bought NOS but not the cap, though the cap is not dented anywhere as far as I can see. These steel caps age MUCH better than the gold ones do (imo).

Nice pen! I have one similar to this ... without the sweet nib of course. Mine is a F nib.

They are great pens. I am only selling this one b/c I have a PFM V (B) and am trying to convince myself to just be happy with that. It is not in as good shape as this one and has a regular round nib so trying to see if I move this on to a home where it will be used more frequently.

Coincidentally I have a blue PFM V too!

Note small abrasion on one of the corners of cap. Not obvious but here, zoomed in and sharpened with Photoshop you can see one corner has a small mark.

Gone. I'll probably regret it but it is now a done deal.
