It all started in December when I was writing a note with a gift card to send to my future daughter in law. As I looked at the note I thought, I would really like to improve my handwriting. After purchasing a book and finding web sites on handwriting I quickly became interested and then somewhat obsessed with fountain pens. I am slowly working on improving my handwriting and now have 3 fountain pens. I am sure the 3 fountain pens will multiply in the near future! I have already learned a great deal from browsing this forum and look forward learning a great deal more.

All suggestions and advice is greatly appreciated!

Welcome, hansdown!!
My youngest daughter is in Colorado Springs....
Like you, I am trying to better my cursive skills, using fountain pens...For me, it's a rather steep learning curve (too many years of improper writing technique cannot be set in reverse overnight!!)...
Best of luck in your quest for improved penmanship!!

Always try to get the dibs....on fountain pens with EF nibs!!

Colorado Springs is a nice town and area! And I agree it is a steep learning curve and it will be a long process to improve my writing but I can see improvement. Although when I need to write something quickly I revert to old habits way to easily. But I am enjoying fountain pens and practicing writing.
Thanks for the welcome and good luck with your penmanship as well!

Hello and welcome. Did your future daughter-in-law write back?

Yes she did write back and her handwriting is much better than mine! And it was very nice getting an actual handwritten card back.

The multiplication has begun. Just purchased a Lamy 2000 from a member here.
