Hey Everyone,
I've lurked around fpgeeks for a while, but I recently joined so I could more fully join in the fun. I'm also nic_v5 on FPN, Instagram, and PenAddict Slack. I've always enjoyed nice pens and stationary, but I didn't start getting into fountain pens until 2009. My favorite brand quickly became Omas and I started building up a nice collection. I later decided that I didn't want to "collect" fountain pens I was somewhat scared to use because it might lessen their value and thus have them just sit in a display. I sold off most of my original collection and started focusing on American made brands that I would use. Since it looks like Omas is all but done I'm hoping to grab a Vision 360 and something in brown or green arco celluloid some day.
My favorite brands and companies right now are Newton Pens, Scriptorium Pens, Franklin-Christoph, and Karas Kustoms. They are all great people making great products. I'm hoping to acquire a Carolina Pen Company creation this year as well.
