Hi there,
It's a while since I have posted any pens, I was just to busy.
Here is a Roller Pen I have finished today.
Ebonite body, "nib" brass, gild plated. The urushi finish "Tame-Raden-Nuri". The roller comes from Schmidt Germany
Best regards,
Martin

I normally dislike raden, not to say I don't like at all. But here, I do like the way you have cover it with the urushi. Very very beautiful. And would it be even nicer with a nib. :)
Thank you, Martin.

You can even make a roller ball desirable.

I love your work Martin!! There's just so much more flavor to your raden pens than other "normal" production ones - not that any raden pen is normal. I look forward to the day when I can get a custom pen from you. Keep up the good work!

Thank you very much.
In Japan, craft people are very conservative and not very open to new creative ideas.
I personally am interested to find new application techniques.
There are still many possibilities ahead to be discovered
