Following up on last week's Midori Madness Pen Posse, we had Kingdom Note madness as the theme for today's Pen Posse.

Sunny Koh flew in from Singapore today. He had stopped in Japan and went to the Mitsukoshi World Pen Fair and brought back a lot of fun stuff for the Posse to buy. He brought a bunch of Kingdom Note inks and they went fast.

Mitsukoshi Pen Fair.
May sound obvious, but is that like a Pen Show in Japan?

Sorry for the delay, but I was away at a conference last week.

Mitsukoshi is a Department store mainly based in Tokyo with branches in other Japanese cities. Like many Japanese department stores, Mitsukoshi has a fountain pen department. The main store in Ginza has very large fountain pen department. The pen fair was a week long (?) event where many vendors from around Japan and the world came to show off their pens. There were Pen Fair only editions of pens from the various Japanese companies as well as special ink.

It was discussed in this FPN thread from two weeks ago.
