I'm looking for a plain leather notebook, with paper that won't feather or bleed. My concern is finding a good notebook with low quality paper which would leave it unusable. This forum has never let me down before, thanks in advance for taking the time to help me.

Is my goto for leather journals. I even had them make me a cover for the Paperforfountainpens tomoe river journal

Also use Seven Sea's tomoe river signatures in one of the Seven Sea leather covers

Rather IJ but that's personal taste

I saw William Hannah leather notebooks at the Cambridge pen show and was highly impressed. Lovely paper, refillable,http://www.williamhannah.com.

I had some made by Don Taylor. He's a true artist:

Go custom--pick your leather, provide your paper and get exactly what you want.

Why not a refillable leather notebook cover in your preferred size? Just fill with the notebook of your choice.

I agree with KrazyIvan. Is there any particular reason you wouldn't opt for a refillable notebook cover?
If you do decide for it, I recommend spending some time on Etsy, there are lots of sellers offering customizable leather notebook covers. Some have a bit longer waiting lists and might seem expensive at first glance, but in the long run -- they could last you several years, if properly taken care of -- they are not that pricey.
