Will Noodler's HOD feather on cheap paper?

Yes another question, sorry for spamming this glorious forum. There's just no better place to ask my noob questions. Anyway, I'm going to put Heart of Darkness in a relatively dry pen and use it on incredibly bad (banned product inbound) Mead paper. Will it work? Again, it will be in a dry medium nib.

You may wish to consider using Noodler's Black instead. It was specifically formulated for use on newsprint.
