I just more or less 'stumbled' into fountain pens a month or so ago when I was looking into what one of my favorite designers Kenneth Grange had designed.
I saw his Parker 25 design and loved it.
I now own three (two FPs and one rollerball) and have just this past week also bought my first ever Esterbrook (model J) that I have yet to put some ink into :)

Happy to be here :)

Welcome home. Pull up a stump (if you didn't bring yours) and set a spell.

:)

I quite honestly am not 100% sure on how to yet :)
I'll try to figure it out this week - I got an 80ml bottle of Diamine Onyx blood waiting for it....

Actually I might just be able to swing that :)

I have a Parker 25 rollerball pen with the ink cartridge lodged/stuck in it...maybe someone the could be more resourceful and help me get it out lol

Yesss you should come on Sunday! :D
I'll have a bunch of dental picks/crochet hooks, we can try one of those on your cartridge. Other folks are teaching me how to resac a pen, and it was a good excuse to buy a bunch of pointy tools.

Looks like it's really close to the BART station which could be convenient :)
I'm pretty sure the cartridge can be removed in five seconds by someone who knows what they are doing but I'm worried that if I use brute force it'll..well..break :(

I put it in my Outlook calendar. Would be fun to check it out

It's actually right next to the BART station. 100 yards.

I'm also driving over from Oakland, so if you're an East Bay person, we could carpool. Or something. Idk, strangers on the internet.

lol thanks for the offer but I'm in SF proper so BARTing it down is prolly the easiest way.

Hope to make it and meet some of you pen-nuts :)

Greetings from central Illinois! You all are making me incredibly jealous. My family visited San Fran in 2013 and I cried when it was time to come home. Maido. I loved that store.
