I am a follower of Anna at the Well-Appointed Desk blog, and she recently made a post on great pens for sketching (see her post here: http://www.wellappointeddesk.com/). By the way, Dreck, if you are reading this, I wonder if you have tried the Platinum Carbon Desk pen as a choice for writing on Bible paper. I bet it would work well.)

Thank you so much for posting. I've got 5 of the document inks and mixing them has been......interesting to say the least. I'm good at making "mud". To see how Anna has systematically laid out steps to create colors is helpful.

I'm starting to collect the storia inks, which are mixable too. I'm excited to see what mud colors I can create.
