I ended up with three Parker Jotter pens (not quite sure exactly how that happened...) but as it turns out only one of them has a spring in it.
Does anyone know where I can one pick up a couple of springs on the cheap that will fit the Jotter ball point pens? Even eBay let me down...

I'd try promotional pens the sort you with company logos on. You must have a few lying around that take Parker style refills. You could take the springs out of those and use it.

The first pen I tried had a spring that was way too long but the ugly, red, plastic Kaiser Permanente pen was a successful donor!
