This is the first time I've handled a Filcao pen made in Italy.
It's a big pen at 5-1/2 inches capped. The material is like a crushed marble that is quite pretty and the build quality is top-notch, easily the same level as other Italian brands.
Filling mechanism is quite unique, a pneumatic system that relies on an air hole and it works well.
But what makes this sale special, is that the pen's big nib has been BLS ground by Mr. Pendleton Brown, so it's like getting this custom grind along with an unique and high-quality pen. Writing sample is under the pen in this photo:
