BB Tears of a Clown vs Sailor Oku Yama?

Hey folks!

Now that there's ANOTHER massdrop BB drop, and there's still 4B (for the second option) -- how do Tears of a Clown and Sailor Oku-yama compare?

I can't decide on a second ink, and I'm debating between Norwegian Wood and Tears of a Clown. :| Or another one that I'm totally missing out on? :)

Yep! The Massdrop is just slightly cheaper -- and I know I want 4B, so it's a matter of picking a second color.

Do they have dandyism? Wonderful green.

I was hoping to get something a little brighter -- thus the Norwegian Wood vs Dandyism.

How bright?

Mandarin orange? Easy to read?

Sweet pink love is very bright - almost neon pink.

Norwegian wood is a pretty boring brown - a disappointment for me. It's just boring brown. MB toffee is much better. Had fp friends agree about Norwegian wood - dull brown. Of course this is a personal taste thing.

I'd like something usable, but on the brighter side. I just got MB's Pink, so that probably hits my pink quota for a while. :)

My bad....got my ink names mixed up. Yes Norwegian wood is green.

If you like bright, try sunset. It's a wonderful mix of red orange. Has great shading and easy to read.

Is Sunset also called Sakura Saku? Only yesterday did my order from the last Bung Box drop come in, and the Sakura box was completely smashed down, and ink spilled all over the outside of the (ink) box, inside of its wrapper. Was just going write it off and throw it out....maybe I should open it. Massdrop graphics make it look like a good sub for Noodlers Dragon's Napalm.Not sure how this happened and the other boxes only slightly compressed.

Try it. I've had the ink in one pen for 8 months. Every time it runs out, I refill the pen again. It's one of best inks (in my opinion) bung box makes.

I'm fine with it. Much better to avoid getting under the thumb, of a bureaucrat behind a counter if at all possible.

They were smashed down from the top a little bit. They used a horrible low level UPS service. Other than damage to the shipping box, delivery took 20 days. Of course shipping was free, and the quantities they're dealing with are not that large.
