I visited our local bricks & mortar stationery store today, and found that they sell Winsor&Newton calligraphy ink "for dip and fountain pens". Does anyone have experience with these inks?

Yes I've used it. I wouldn't put it in a fountain pen.

I use these colored inks for artwork in some of my letters. The inks I have are completely waterproof and can be painted over with watercolor washes without smearing. I would not put them in a fountain pen!

They are great quality but not for fountain pens.

Great for dip pens

Curiously, the bottles do say they are for fountain pens, but the coloring and feel of the ink certainly suggest otherwise.
