UPDATES: both pens are SOLD, thanks!

I recently decided to sell off a good portion of my collection to better concentrate on my focus. Offered today are 2 vintage Conklin Endura ringtops, one with a very flexible nib.

1. 1920s Conklin Endura Ringtop (Lapis Blue): A beautiful pen recently restored with new sac, fills and writes without issues. Has a consistent, F extra-flexible "Conklin ENDURA" nib that verges on a wet noodle, flexing from F to super Bold with little pressure (see writing sample photo). The line variation is comparable to the Waterman #5 w/ Pink nib I sold on FPN a few years back. This Endura has no chips or cracks. Deep, fully legible imprint. The color is excellent (even more arresting in person): it's even across the pen with only slight darkening toward the section covered by the cap, and restored painted bands in the accurate red color. No brassing but for a slight crescent on the very end of the lever when inspected with a loope. There is some of the typical denting to the top of the gold cap-crown with the ring. Small, light personalized engraving heat stamped into the side of the barrel: "C.S. to M.L." (see photo below). I wonder what the occasion was? This pen is in excellent condition on the whole and should make for a sweet writer for someone in search of a great example of vintage flex.

2. 1920s Conklin Endura Ringtop (BHR): Recently restored with new sac, fills and writes without issues. Has a F, consistent semi-flexible "Conklin ENDURA" nib which lays down a M line when flexed (see writing sample). No chips, cracks, or personalized engravings. No brassing but for a tiny sliver to the bottom of the cap band when inspected with a loope. There is some of the typical denting to the top of the gold cap-crown with the ring. The color is good, with very little fading except around the imprint, restored red bands, but the surface has tiny flea-bite flecks here and there (visible in first photo). The imprint is very worn with parts that are illegible. Nice little piece of history.

Payment & Guarantee: Pen is placed on hold for the first person to PM me with firm request to purchase. But if I haven't received Paypal payment in 24 hrs, then it becomes available to the next person. All my pens are guaranteed to be in the condition in which I've described them. If I've missed something or the filling mechanism is not fully functional, then the buyer may return the pen at any point by contacting me up to 7 days after receiving it. I've been out of the hobby for some time, so I've only sold a handful of pens here, but check out the Classifieds and Historical Sales forum on FPN also for some of my previous sales (username: estragon).
