The famous Parker Vacumatic in grey-striated material. As far as solid writers, few could come and stand toe-to-toe with this legend. This the standard version with double jewel (top and bottom).
Condition: Restored. New diaphragm, clean barrel (semi transparent without ink), and more importantly, the vacumatic filler is working well and the ink capacity is enormous.
Nib: Parker 14K in Medium. A slight line variation, just enough to give your writing some characters. See the writing sample below. The tines are adjusted and is now writing confidently and smoothly.
Trims: The clip is not original, the original one was DOA, and I replaced it with a gold clip from another vacumatic whose barrel was DOA. The trim on the bottom jewel is original, so is the band on the cap; both are nickel -colored. So it's a mismatch with the new clip and top jewel trim. But does it matter? Only if you care. I don't, and would love to keep this pen if no one wants it.
Price: $90 (really reasonable for a freshly restored and nib tuned Vacumatic. I reduce the price because the mismatched trim, and more importantly, to make it affordable for those who just entered the vintage pen arena).
