Unfortunately the Vet next door maintains a feral cat population in our area.

Lucky for the robin, our four dogs cause the cats to avoid us. I've quarantined the front porch from all but the postman for now and hope for the best.

Most definitely. Now they have a dangerous week on the ground (with parental support) as little bush commandos while they learn how to fly...I'm told it's early enough in the year there may be a second clutch of eggs by the same parents.
