I recently decided to sell off a good portion of my collection to better concentrate on my focus. Today I have to offer 2 fully restored and serviced Parker 51s with excellent writing characteristics. Both pens are in excellent condition, with smooth caps and no chips, cracks, or monograms.

1. Early 50s Parker 51 Aerometric (Burgundy). This is the more difficult to fine demi-sized pen, but as you can see it's not much smaller than the standard size Vac, measuring 5 1/8" capped. The nib on this pen is what sets it apart. It lays down a buttery smooth and consistent FINE line and has the qualities of a subtle STUB nib, with the downstrokes being slightly wider than the horizontal. A real joy to write with. The aerometric filling units on these are very robust and this one should last for another 60 years. Light drawer wear, but no real issues to speak of.

Price: SOLD

2. 1947 Parker 51 Vacumatic (Cedar Blue). Carries a smooth and consistent MEDIUM nib, which is harder to find on 51s. The ample amount of tipping material would make it a perfect candidate for a M or F stub modification if you wished to go that route. But it writes quite nicely as it is. The pen was fully disassembled, cleaned, and its diaphragm replaced just this month. I've serviced 20-30 Vac fillers in my time and this one is guaranteed to fill as it should and have no leaks. Superb condition on the whole. The only exception being some micro-abrasions on the cap and a rough spot on the blind cap (see last photo - new cedar blue blind caps are available for $6 at fivestarpens if this minor cosmetic issue begins to bother you).

Price: SOLD

Payment & Guarantee: Pens are placed on hold for the first person to PM me with firm request to purchase. But if I haven't received Paypal payment within 24 hrs, then they become available to the next person. All my pens are guaranteed to be in the condition in which I've described them. If I've missed something or the filling mechanism is not fully functional, then the buyer may return the pen at any point by contacting me up to 7 days after receiving it. Please check the sold listings here as well as those in the classifieds and historical sales forums at FPN for some of my previous sales.
