Hi all...Here is another Onoto The Pen review. Does anyone know the meaning of the vintage Onoto pens numbering system ?

I've got a 4601 in black chased plastic fitted with a #2 nib. Opposite the 4601 and the arrow for the plunger, there are the characters C8.

I really like that color and I don't go for red/burgundy much.

Blue is my favorite with black a close second.

I think red and burgundy can sometimes look bad in some pictures, but it is really pretty in person. Someday I'll get a Parker Vest Pocket Streamline Duofold (with clip) in that color.
