Hi - I created an album for a 'mystery pen' of mine, hoping others can confirm what it is and also what piston converter would work with it:

Apologies for the cat hair on the cat tree -that's where the best lighting was!

I bought this fountain pen in Philadelphia from a specialty pen shop (I forget the name) circa 1995, maybe a few years later. Unfortunately I do not have the original receipt, nor any literature other than a very general Sheaffer product brochure information leaflet enclosed under the pen 'bed' in the box.

I also created a Youtube video asking about it - I guess you can contact me if you want the link, or I can post if it's cool here.

Someone on Youtube said they thought it was a Crest; they also pointed me to this forum and said you all could help.

Very new here so hope I'm not crashing in! Thanks in advance for all replies.:)

(Oh my goodness - if you click on my photos in the album they are SUPER SIZED. Clearly I don't know what I'm doing - I'll work on fixing that...)

Yes, a modern Crest. It uses the Sheaffer cartridges and converters.

Here is my red one:

Thank you so much! I think we can consider the mystery solved. I'll look into Sheaffer converters, cheers. :thumb:
