Hello everyone

Up for sale is a green striated celluloid Pelikan 400 fountain pen from ca. 1951-55 with the original semiflexible 14C gold KM nib.

The pen is in perfect working condition as it has been completely disassembled and cleaned.

Features: - A wet & smooth 14 C gold KM (Kugel Medium) nib that offers significant line variation.
- Ebonite feed
- Transparent ink window.
- Piston filling mechanism that works flawlessly, fills the pen with ease to its maximum ink capacity. Freshly silicone greased and ready to be used.
- Excellent writing performance, vintage Pelikan nibs are truly remarkable and this one is no exception. Please check the writing samples below (ink: Diamine Golden Brown).
- Flaws: one of the fins of the feed is not complete, please see pictures (ink-flow is not affected by this). The cap has a small hairline crack, please check the photos. The cap still closes securely (one should know that Pelikan 400s came with a metal inner cap, so a crack on the outside is only cosmetic, it does not affect function). Apart from that there are no cracks, no dents on the pen, and there are almost zero microscratches as the pen spent close to 6 decades in a drawer. Please check the HQ photos.

No box or papers.

I tried my very best to make decent photos and videos of the pen, Please check them as they are part of this offer and are the best way to describe the pen.

PRICE: $150 $140 plus shipping (worldwide registered shipping with tracking number /uninsured, signed for/ USD8, insurance at cost if needed)

Paypal, skrill payment - either one is fine with me.
As always, I am open to hear reasonable offers.

I will ship within 24 hours after payment is received.

Email: myfountainpensforsale@gmail.com

First email/PM with the message 'I want it!' gets the pen. Feel free to ask questions or make an offer but be aware that those do not reserve the pen.

This is a beautiful pen. I have a similar Pelikan with a KM nib, which cost me a bit more. If it wasn't for that I'd snatch this one up in a moment!

Pelikan 400s are quite amazing pens, indeed. I am only selling this pen because I have another one with a F nib that suits my writing style better.

Thank you for your comment, Carlos.q!
