A vintage MB 342. Third tier, piston filler, nib size 2.
Why I like it? Because it's a high quality pen that doesn't try to be a status symbol. And that springy, flexy vintage 14C nib.

The 342 is a great little pen. The 34x series were student and entry level pens and great performers. The second from the right in this picture is a little 342.

Can you show us the nib size comparison between the 342 and 344?

No but if I get a chance I'll take a picture of the 2, 4, 6 and 4½ nibs together; say a 146, 144, 234½ and 342 together. How would that be?

I think that would be a very useful comparison. Thank you!

Be patient though, first I need to gather them all together and non are easily accessible.

What would one expect to pay for such a pen in good condition? :spy:

Thanks!

Btw, great get!

Beautiful pen, penwash. Congrats! The vintage ones have fun, springy nibs. Have fun with it.
