View Full Version : SOLD Parker 51 (Navy Blue with Lustraloy Cap + M Nib)

Hey guys and gals...

I recently picked up a navy blue Parker 51 Aerometric with a lustraloy cap and medium nib from my buddy Joe Crace (Gentleman Stationer) and I really like the nib on the pen, but the 51 just isn't really for me. It's the second one I've owned and I just can't love them for some reason. This one is super clean with just some light rub marks at the end of the barrel and on the grip. They could probably be buffed out but my lathe is currently in use at Jonathon Brooks' studio as his went out, so I can't buff it out myself.

Fills and writes beautifully, but I'm in the market for something else (a new custom) so this one needs a new home. I'm asking $100 including shipping and PayPal for this one.

Damned... I dont use medium nibs but as a note Medium Nibs are rarer for Parker 51s so this is cool buy

Yeah... I looked for a LONG time to find one with a Medium nib and snagged this one when I saw it. Unfortunately, I just don't love Parker 51's for some reason so this one needs a new home. Beautiful pen, though. And the nib is quite nice albeit slightly utilitarian in that it just works and works well with just a tiny bit of stubbiness as seen in a lot of vintage nibs, but is otherwise not terribly exciting. LOL!

Still a wonderful nib in a great pen body that presents very well.

Absolutely! I'll do that first thing in the morning. The pen is in my Dudek Block at work.
