I was looking at a Pilot Custom and Falcon pens. I was noticing that they offer a soft fine, medium nibs. What is a soft nib? What is like to write with a soft nib?

A soft nib sort of gives a little when you write, like a bounce or a cushion, not necessarily a full blown flex nib.

A while back I did a video comparing the soft and regular medium. Unfortunately, not for Pilot (these are Platinum pens). But, this may help illustrate what MrPeeps has said. Soft nibs are fun just because of that little bit of give to your regular writing.
