This is a beautiful, big Visconti fountain pen!
The Cosmos LE, was produced in a limited run of just 88 pens exclusive to the USA in three colours, the most mysterious of which is this Black Stardust. The material is just incredible, a Lava/Resin composite with a different feel to normal resin. With elusive golden swirls, it really shines under different light, and is perfectly complemented by the gold trim.
It uses the Voyager old-style clip and has a nicely engraved cap band and cap top.
The pen was a limited run of 88 in this colour, of which this is #08.
The pen is large and satisfying to hold with good heft. The pen is about 5.75" (14.6cm) long capped, and 7.25" (18.3cm) posted. Uncapped, the pen measures 5.25" (13.4cm). The pen uses Visconti's high pressure power filler. The nib is a beautiful, soft Dreamtouch 950 Pd Palladium nib in stub, which in Visconti's case is a 1.3 stub. The pen has great line variation, allows for a bit of shading, and is just a dream to use. It holds a ton of ink, too.
This pen has been inked just a couple times, and is in as new condition. No box sorry.
