Hi everyone. A few years ago I started regularly using fountain pens. Today I took delivery of my 18th fountain pen, and am coming to terms with the fact that I now have a pen collection :)
However, it's a collection that gets used. I discovered that my work journal is more functional and more fun if I use different coloured inks. So each of these 18 pens has a different ink, and I change pens every day, and often use additional colours to help words stand out, add corrections, help keep different columns of data distinct, etc.
Most of my pens are of the low-end variety, my fanciest pen is a Lamy 2000. But I'm getting a better feel for the size and weight of pen I like most, and I want to add some prettier pens to the collection soon. This forum has been a useful resource for me already, so I thought it was time to become a member.
Cheers,
John
