Purple ink comparison

Jetpens has just released a "purple fountain pen ink comparison" (http://www.jetpens.com/blog/purple-fountain-pen-ink-comparison/pt/895) that compares drying times, water and highlighter resistance and divides into color groups various purple inks from the following manufacturers:

Caran d'Ache
Diamine
Herbin
Kaweco
Monteverde
Noodler's
Pelikan
Pilot Iroshizuku
Sailor
Waterman

Even though they only compare inks that they sell on their site, I find these comparisons to be very useful.
No connection to Jetpens but they do sell a lot of cool stuff. :thumb:

Arrghhh...the site's sidebars keep me from viewing all the inks in their blue-black category. But thanks for linking the comparisons! Very cool.

I have always used blue/black/blue-black (and Pelikan's Mercurechrome red in school).
I started playing with colored inks quie recently, and found Waterman Purple and Pelican Violet to be great.
You can use either for paperwork and it looks serious enough but gives you a flare advantage

If Naimitsu doesn't have any cartridges of the Pelikan Violet, Sailor, I am pretty sure I do.
