I can't tell too much from the pictures, but the cap does not look like it belongs with the pen. The bottom button on the pen looks crazed and crumbling which is not too unusual. The paper work is nice but the case itself looks to be a more recent issue. Also the body appears to be from a later version. The first of the metal capped slip cap versions appeared after the war in 1943.

Better and clearer pictures showing the whole pen as well as the nib and any imprints would help. It may well be a nice pen but it sure needs some TLC.
