A neat BCHR made by Star Pen Co. with "Guaranteed 3 Years" engraved on the barrel.
I find it amazing that 100+ years later the pen is still working :)

Condition: Restored, adjusted and tested. Ready to write.
Nib: A nicely flexible Warranted (see writing sample above). I smooth it, plenty of tipping materials.
Price: $135 $125 OBO

Shipping $3 USPS First Class within US.

Hi Katherine,
It's 5-3/8 inches capped. Nice barrel size (not skinny).
And as you can see in the writing sample, the nib goes from EF to BB+ (about 1.1mm) easily with a nice snapback.

Ah, I was thinking more along the lines of #2/etc. I've been on a 'try to stick vintage nibs in modern pens' kick lately...

That is fun and I do it also. But I find that the only way to be sure is to have the nib in hand and try it.
Relying on the numbering on the nib is as effective as pinning down leaves on a windy day. The numbering on the vintage nib does not correspond to any of the modern nibs, and even if you match the dimension, there are other factors such as the curvature of the nib, the tine tolerances, tail length.
