All oversized. I've caved and have started an article. Will take awhile

Parker Vacumatic Oversize: 3 transparency patterns (if "none" counts as one).

What beauties. This really is a classic fountain pen. A lovely picture too!

In the upcoming issue of Fountain Pen Journal, I'll discuss the Parker Vacumatic Golden Web cluster. I hope to do the Black Vac Attack an issue or two later.

I wish Parker would do a modern release of these pens.....I am sure they would sell a large quantity of them.

The pens would probably be C/C fillers. Would there be any point?

It seems that there is a night and day difference between the Vacumatic on the one hand and the IM and Urban on the other.

The Vacumatic series was all about vacumatic filling system. It seems these days is much easier to produce C/C...

Indeed. A 'tribute' to the Vacumatic with only the most superficial resemblance to a Vacumatic.

I mean a modern vacuum fill Parker brand new pen again. I would want one. I don't think I would want a c/c look alike. It would be nice to have a new celluloid pen with all brand new parts. They all lasted 40 years before repairs and we all got them restored. A new release would have a market.

I want a C/C one. Easy to clean and repair and no worries about failing latex bits. Pump filler is a novel idea but not practical.

Well, you have the C/C version available. No quaint, charming thirties-forties Vacumatic there.
