Beautiful orange demonstrator, love the way this pen looks in different lights
Piston filler is one of the smoothest i've ever used and the high ink capacity complements the music nib very nicely.
14k Pilot #5 Music nib. I acquired this nib from another seller via fountainpennetwork forum.
The nib is fantastic, lays down a thick and juicy line, great shading, and soft allowing for more line variation with light pressure.
The feed keeps up fairly well with the high ink demand of the nib. Occassionally I get some light skipping when ink in feed runs low, but that can always be solved by turning piston knob to bring ink into the feed.
I also find that ink choice, more lubricating ink (such as iroshizuku for example) tends help ink flow and result in better performance.
