Hello,
I'm a newbie in fountain pen sport and I'm facing the following problem. I bought a Lamy Safari F but after a while I see something like a "hair" on the nib-feeder part of the pen. I've decided to remove this. Will I face a problem in writting? I'm posting a photo of the pen showing the missing part (it's actually a little piece of plastic but its position is crucial)

It seems that a bit of plastic is missing from the feed tip.
Try removing the nib and checking to see if the fracture line reaches the red line shown in the photo. If not, I don't think you should be concerned. Removing the nib on a Lamy is fairly easy, you don't need that much experience. Do a google search for "lamy nib swap" and you should be fine.

Here's the other side of the feeder. I think it's not a problem following your post

The damage seems to be minimal, you should be fine.
Enjoy your Safari !

Thank you! However, why this happened? Why the plastic "peeled off" from day 1? Just an academic question

Factory flaw maybe. Worse things have happened to way more expensive pens.
