A cool Sheaffer Balance in standard size with the military-style clip. Green stripes in a very nice condition.

Cosmetics: The pen just looks nice. All trims are dandy, love the military clip.

Condition: Restored. Tested and ready to write.

Nib: An XF Feather Touch 14k nib with semiflex (very crisp), which is very uncommon for Sheaffer nibs. See the writing sample.

Price: $85 $75 OBO

Shipping $3 within US.

IIRC that model was called the Defender and sold for $5.00 (should have the 500 price code stamp).

At $5 in 1940's, running through the Inflation Calculator yields..... $86.02 in 2016.
So I'm actually selling this pen under retail price :)
