Hi everyone, I am new here and was wondering whether anyone knows of any reputable custom fountain pen makers. I am talking about the whole pen custom, not kit pens. I want to pick the blanks and everything else, preferably fit a jowo #6 nib with converter ability. I have a pen by Renee Meeks, beautiful pen I might add. Just looking for any other pen makers as talented as her!
thanks

Brian Grey, Shawn Newton, John Twiss are the ones I can think off.

I've seen some lovely pens by Jonathan Brooks (Carolina Pen Company--he makes his own blanks, too) and Dr. Ken Cavers.

Also, while I don't remember the woman's name, Scriptorium Pens has shown some lovely work.

I think that's the Renee Meeks referred to in the OP? :)

Some of your pens look very interesting - I really like the intricate silver work :thumb:

Brian Gray is Edison Pen Co. (http://edisonpen.com) Then there is Brad Torelli (http://www.torellipens.com) for total custom insanity. There are many more.

Nice work. I like Pandora's Box. Hiding the colourful section like that until the cap is removed is an innovation. I also like the slender red ink window on Pandora's Crimson.

In France, Matthieu Faivet and Fred Faggionato, and in Spain, Gimena and Romillo Pens.
In India, Fosfor Pens and ASA Pens both offer custom pens.

Both the owners and the maker (it is me in this case) were very excited while making this concept.. Thank you for comment :)

Beautiful pens and you've mastered a good process for making them, that is an amazing accomplishment in itself.
Do you have a silver band ring that is inspired by the Hagia Sophia by any chance?

Fisher of Pens made this pen, not specifically for me but I snapped it up when it went up for sale summer of last year. (His picture)

That's a nice pen - reminds me of a Parker Vacumatic. Is it made of modern celluloid?

Per Fisher of Pens, it's vintage French celluloid. The Parker resemblance was my main attraction to it.

The Fisher pen IS a very nice pen. So nice I had to order one myself! Fortunate there was still some of the stunning material left.
Many thanks to KrazyIvan :D

I do custom fountain pens too.
Working with all kind of materials, like ebonite, celluloid / cellulose acetate, galalith, acrylic, etc.
Until now i only used Bock nibs #5 & #6, but JOWO shouldn´t be a problem.
Please PM me if you like.
best regards
Gerrit

If you want to go all out, contact Brad Torelli--just recieved a "51" flighter he customized with a stainless steel hood and other parts...incredible work. Expensive, but he has an amazing eye for detail and can make pretty much anything you want.
