Beautiful and rare IMPERIAL fountain pen.
Vintage, 1930's, Dutch made, celluloid with a 14K full flex nib
Brand: Imperial
Country of origin: The Netherlands
Production year: mid 1930's
Material: Body and cap pink and black marbled celluloid; clip, cap rings & filling lever nickle plated brass;
Cap top, section and feeder ebonite (black hard rubber)
Nib: Imperial - 14 c - 0.585 - 1st quality. Full Flex ( see writing sample in pictures).
Filling system: Lever filler
Measurements: capped: 132 mm; uncapped 119 mm; posted 162 mm. diameter over barrel 12 mm; over cap 13.3 mm
Condition: Very good. Some plating loss on the lever. New rubber ink sac. Pen is completely restored, clean, writes smooth with an impressive flex nib that lays down a wet line that varies from F to BBB depending on writing pressure.
