The London Pen Show LWES is October 2nd

The London Writing Equipment Show opens its doors for the 2016 event on Sunday 2nd.October.
The show is fully booked once again and although we have lost some regulars due to illness and family commitments we also have some new faces such as Pure Pens, Jack Row, William Hannah from the UK, Tom Westerich, Santini Italia from Italy, Dayne Nix from USA, Carola & Ulrich Kruner from Germany and KWZ Ink from Poland.
Pure Pens is setting up an ink testing station on one of there tables, our 'resident' nibsmith Mr. John Sorowka will be busily working on nibs throughout the show (John is in the corridor this year so you can't miss him), Steve Hull will be with us to launch his new book on the Onoto ( a must have book for collectors of English pens). The UK's top pen repair people will be with us once again Dr. Marshall and Dr. Oldfield, Eric Wilson will also be floating around all day.
The Writing Equipment Society team will be with us in force and one again they are running a 'Bourse' table - always a good place to pick up interesting bargains.
WES have a meeting organised for Saturday afternoon and they have also organised a visit to the Parker Pen Heritage museum on Saturday morning, this is only open to invited members only, to get your invitation contact librarian@wesonline.org.uk but do it quickly as places are limited and filling up fast.
