View Full Version : Steel Nib for Lamy 2000?

Some years ago (4-5 or so) I purchased a vintage, new old stock EF stainless steel nib for my Lamy 2000. Apparently it had come from some other pen, but fit the L2K perfectly and was a joy to write with.

I sold that pen and nib because the EF was just too fine for me but I have yet to find a replacement.

Does anyone know where I might be able to:

a) source a stainless steel Fine or Medium nib to fit a Lamy 2000; or

b) source a cheap(ish) pen that uses the same nib that I can steal from (likely a vintage Lamy would be the case here)

I much prefer steel nibs to gold for my writing style. I think the site I bought from those years ago was like pointythings.com or some such thing. Can't seem to find it now.

Thoughts?

Sadly, http://pointythings.com/pens/noslamy.php seems to be a dead site :(

This FPN thread (http://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/topic/253528-where-to-buy-nibsection-for-lamy-2000/) has some info on other Lamy pens with compatible nibs, which may or may not be useful to you.
