The pen writes really well. I asked Mr. Masuyama to grind it to a wet M Cursive Italic. He did a terrific job. Here are the pics - https://imgur.com/a/MULia
I don't know the full history of the pen. It has been ground, tuned, and polished to remove an engraving.
