"Oh Ebonite pens, where have you been in all my life?"

If you have never held a pen made out of ebonite or hard rubber, you're missing one of the neat things about vintage pens. Unlike resin materials, ebonite has that warm feel. Here I have a lovely wood-grain red ebonite in the form of a Lakeside lever-filler. Made by the National Pen Co. for Montgomery Ward. This one probably dates back to the 30's. It's not a long pen, but it's chunky and the size is very nice in the hand.

Cosmetics: Very pretty in wood-grain ebonite with matching gold trims. All trims are dandy.

Condition: Restored. Adjusted the nib and feed, smooth it some. The clip is a tad loose but it's not coming off anytime soon (reduced the price for this).

Nib: An F (fine) nib Warranted no.8 which flex nicely into BBB. See the writing sample.

Price: $135 OBO

EDIT: The *clip* is a tad loose, not the *cap*.

Pretty isn't it? I's a lever-filler actually.
