I finally got my Pelikan 1000. I love a big pen and this one is huge. Finally a pen too big for me. I've unsuccessfully been trying to trade it for an 800 either green striped or a Stressman or a Grand Place. The nib is an amazingly smooth broad stubbed by Mr. Masuyama. It's smooth as silk, just too wide a line for me. I'd really love to trade it for a Nakaya throwing in about $100 with it. It's a nice pen just not what I expected.
