I have managed to clean up my beautiful Parker a little, and have discovered the following:

The nib is inscribed with:

Parker
Duofold
14K
Pen

When I was finally able to unscrew the barrel, inscribed below the pressure bar was:

Parker
Made in Denmark
To fill, press ribbed
bar three times. Wipe
front end pen point
down with soft tissue.

As you can see from the photographs, the ink sac is twisted badly.
My pen obviously needs some loving care and attention so that is next on the list.

My father arrived in Australia from Denmark in 1956/7 and must have brought the pen with him.

Nice pen. It's always nice to have something from your family.

You should be able to wiggle the sac guard off the section. You may need to apply a little heat to do so safely. The sac can easily be replaced. I would use a 51 sac from vintagepens.com or harvest one from a donor pen. Finding donor pens of this type isn't difficult, look for ones with a cracked section or a broken nib on eBay UK.
