Ok well I probably shouldn't toot my own horn, but all the letter writing I've been doing inspired this week's Friday Fictioneers flash fiction post on my blog.

If anyone cares to read it, it's posted here http://jenniesisler.wordpress.com/2013/02/21/the-last-letter/

If this post is inappropriate, please feel free to take it down Eric:)

Lying in on a flexday, wondering what to have for breakfast.
7:45am BING BONG....front door bell ...... Post Office courier with electronic device and big black package.
Must be another wool consignment for Mrs Bogon.
Oh its got my name on it....?
1869

And a big black box inside !
1870
What is this? T2- must be tea ?
1871
Monk Pear, Lung Ching (Dragonwell) Classic, T2 Silver Needles & a couple of samples.
mmm That box will be good for storing stationery or pens.
1872
Juan & Jose the penguins take a break from from their usual discussion of quantum mechanics while strolling along a beach.
Juan "That Bogon has completely lost it"
Jose "Yeh, and next time we send him a singularity bomb. That will stop him doing those stupid penguin drawings in InCoWriMo !"

What they are really saying:
Juan "Are you sure we left our beach towels around here"
Jose "I feel like fish & chips for lunch along with a couple of calamari rings"
