Howdy from Europe. I'm pretty much a newbie with fountain pens but I have some new fountain pens, some older, not many though. Wanted to get some because of nostalgia as I started my school with a fp at the end of 1960's. The Internet is a nice place, found info to open older Artus and Pilot M140 (got those from an old old friend), clean, adjust nibs a bit etc. Planning to fix a Welco piston seal, buy a replacement or make one, nothing too fancy in it I assume. So, like to tinker a bit while at it :-)

Thanks, those closest currently seem to be iroshizuku take-sumi, Platinum pigment, Sailor Jentle. Just found out that one artist supply shop started to carry Diamine, have to stop by, get some to sample. Waterman I need to get just as I have let me understand that it is one of the wetter inks around, have to see how my Pilot Custom Heritage takes and gives that. it is slightly shy at time, nib, ink or breathing with converter.
